5-30-08:

Registration is officially closed, and we are pleased to announce that nearly a third of our membership are registered for 2008 Oklahoma Division Convention. This doesn't even count our guests, friends, and the President General. We warmly await your arrival and can't wait to see what this group can do!

Confederate Fair Update 5-23-08:

We are trying to make it easier to participate in the 'fair this year. Bring all your donated (and labeled) items with you to the registration table. Yes, we accept "hard cash" (actually we prefer a check) instead of providing items - but that doesn't let you off of shopping for goodies!

Update 5-22-08:

Any late birds out there? We are able to get a few more people in to meals, though the caterer is imposing an extra $5 per person/meal fee. While we can take late convention registration, we will not be doing so at the convention or the week previous to it. Cowskin Prairie also has more seats available on the historical bus trip, but at a $10 late fee - while they last.

Update 5-7-08:

Don't forget to pack your white gloves!

Update 5-5-08:

Registration Clarification: Convention registration deadline is May 15, 2008 - if you do not register by mail (to arrive by this date), arrange with Cowskin Prairie President or Vice-President to drop off your registration (near Wyandotte) before May 15, 2008.

Please remember that you must register on time and go through the registration table before enjoying any of the Convention.

Update 5-1-08:

From Oklahoma Division State E-List:

On the Convention Call, your (Chapter President) oral report time is 5 minutes.  The extra two minutes are to be used as brief biography of your Chapter's organizing President.  It should include the name of the person, something about her and the date the Chapter was organized, if pre-1906, whether it was in Oklahoma or Indian Territory.  If you are unable to attend, please send this information to me (contact information in state proceedings book) and we may be able to read it (not the current year items).

Thank you for your assistance.
Betty Kemp,
Oklahoma Division
Vice President

Update 4-16-08:

After working with Shirley Rider, the official calls have begun going out in the mail. We've included all the information here online, in case you misplace yours as it comes in the mail. Check with fellow members to see if they received theirs and if they are coming to Grove next month. Please let Shirley Rider know if any member friends did not get theirs, as her database will need updated before the next state newsletter.

Update 3-31-08:

New Drumbeat is out!

Saturday cruise is officially off the itinerary, due to circumstances beyond our control.
