Featuring Homemade edibles
and the ever-popular chapter basket auction

This year the fair will be a feast for the Southern soul! Members should bring their homemade food items for the Fair with them when they register for the 2008 Oklahoma Division Convention. Note: Refrigeration is not available, so leave your deviled eggs, custards, yogurt, puddings, cottage cheese, ices, etc. at home.

All fair items need to be:

bullet individually packaged
bullet clearly labeled with your chapter name and number

If I don't have time to wrap and label my homemade edibles, is that OK? It will give you something to do before the Convention once you get here! Though we are in a smallish lake community, packaging and note materials are easily purchased at many places. It won't take you long once you've checked in to wrap and label your edibles. If you offer Confederate Fair items to the registration table that are not packaged and labeled, they will not be accepted. By trying to streamline registration and check ins for attendees, we are asking you this one extra favor in supporting the Confederate Fair.

Do I have to make something in the kitchen, or a Chapter basket, to support the Confederate Fair? No, donations of "hard cash" will be greatly appreciated. However, it's always fun to participate and shop too!

What does individually packaged mean? If you bring 1 sack of 2 dozen squares of fudge – it will be sold as one item. If you bring a box with 2 dozen individually wrapped pieces of fudge (all labeled with chapter name and number) there will be 2 dozen items to sell.

What can I bring? Any food item that is homemade. Let your imagination run wild. Note: Refrigeration is not available, so leave your perishables at home.
