Confederate Memorial Day

Saturday April 30, 2011

Belvidere Mansion, Claremore, OK

Hosted by
Cowskin Prairie 2611 &
General Forrest 881

The weather was wonderful and we were joined in Confederate fellowship with members from several Oklahoma Division Chapters, several of which serve our Division as Officers, as well as Mrs. Robert T. Hansen, Honorary President of General. A lovely luncheon was enjoyed before attending members honored their Confederate ancestors with roses placed on a wreath. The wreath was taken by our Division President to be placed on the Confederate Memorial at Oak Hill Cemetery, McAlister, Oklahoma. It is these brave Confederate dead that will also benefit from the sitting Division President's project.
