Please note that every author in a group can reserve their own space, or the group can take out a space for everyone.

Author Q&A

Do I have to write a certain type of book, or be from a certain area?
Fiction, Non-Fiction, Confederate, Union - we are in this to celebrate the book, not judge or discriminate. The book fest welcomes authors of all types. We do request that if you've fictionalized a non-fiction topic that you do represent yourself true to your finished work. i.e. A biography that has been sensationalized is actually fiction.

We welcome authors from anywhere to participate in this book festival. While we are located on Cowskin Prairie, we hope to have a wide geographical area of authors represented.

What do I get for participating?
Authors can reserve a full conference table, or a half table. In addition to networking with other authors and interested readers, hand selling and signing you work is always a plus. At this time, with paid reservation (full or half) by December 15, 2009, your receive:

	One lunch (Not part of reservation after 12-15-09)
	free match-up service for half tables
	Access to the authors lounge - exhibitors only - limited refreshments
	Listing on our website as a confirmed author and a link to the web address/email of your choice.
	Limited PR inclusion.
	Copies of all press releases and encouragement to use them for your own PR.
	Your table will be uncovered and un-skirted - set up as is, or bring your flair with you
	Each table will have 2 chairs included in set up - more chairs can be discussed.
	No resellers selling your work that day: We will not be accepting book stores or book re-sellers, as this is a celebration of the book, not a vendor hall.

How late can I reserve space?
Space for approximately 40 tables will be available until it sells out. However, after December 15, 2009, lunch is not included with Festival registration.
